The Milken Institute has just published a comprehensive ranking of the best places to age in the United States — and no California location cracked the top 10. The northern Bay Area — not including the Silicon Valley and San Jose — was 11th, just behind Pittsburgh. It looks like the cost of living is what did in most California cities in the rankings.
