SB 726: hospital employment of doctors

Topic: Hospital employment of physicians.

Summary: Loosens restrictions on hospitals directly hiring doctors. Allows hospitals in “under-served” areas to hire doctors directly if the hospital is managed by a health care district and the hospital’s physician staff approves the idea to hire doctors directly rather than on a contract basis.
